They were brought up by an aunt Aunty Morenike. They had to survive by navigating the streets of Lagos, at the end of which they choose different paths of life.

Wale grows up to become a law enforcement officer with the SWAT division of the police. Akin on the other hand keeps getting into scrapes with the law and becomes a career criminal and keeps landing in prison. After he is released from prison, he opts to join the notorious Ojuju Boys.

He offers to help them upgrade their operations and is introduced to their leader called Shadow (Basketmouth). He tells them of a bigger operation which involves intercepting and robbing a buillion van. The first operation is successful although in an attempt to pursue the robbers Officer Collins Wale’s father–in–law is killed and they decide to continue onto a bigger score.

Akin at first totally refuses to be part of the operation. Goldie and Adura manage to convince him to change his mind and he agrees to help  plan the operation and  also takes part in the operation.  They plan to hit two bouillon vans in one day.

After the first operation Akin insists that it is a terrible idea to carry out the second one, but they insist. They are intercepted on the Third mainland bridge by Wale’s team and a heavy shootout ensues, causing heavy casualties on both sides.

Most of the Ojuju boys are killed, and Izra betrays them and makes away with the money, leaving Goldie and Akin stranded on the bridge facing security operatives. In an attempt to escape, Goldie is killed. Wale tries to convince Akin to drop his weapon but he refuses, he is shot by the police and falls into the lagoon.

No matter how much the divers search, Akins body is not recovered. Shadow is arrested. Meantime Wale is arrested by internal affairs to ascertain his connection to the Ojuju boys.

Izra makes it to the smuggler who  is supposed to aid their escape and tells him he’s the only survivor from the heist. Akin finds him and kills him.  Having found safe haven, he calls Wale with an unknown number. He is with Adura.
